Turn Claude into a business partner that remembers your projects, numbers and decisions

⏱️ 45 minutes · 🎯 Easy · 💵 Paid Claude plan (Pro from about USD 20/month)

🧰 Before you start

🪜 Steps (tick as you go)

  1. ☐
    1. Create a Project

In Claude, open Projects and click New project. Call it '[Business name] HQ'. (A Project is a folder of chats that share the same instructions and files.)

  2. ☐
    2. Write your Business Tracker

In a document, write: current projects and deadlines, blockers, a cash snapshot (MYR), key decisions made, and your stage (pre-revenue, early revenue or scaling). Upload it to the Project.

  3. ☐
    3. Add a weekly review checklist

Make a second short document with questions for each week: what shipped, money in and out, what's stuck, top 3 priorities. Upload it.

  4. ☐
    4. Set the instructions

Paste the 'Project instructions' prompt below into the Project's instructions box.

  5. ☐
    5. Run your first weekly review

Start a chat in the Project and type 'weekly review'. Answer its questions.

  6. ☐
    6. Update the tracker

At the end, ask Claude for an updated tracker and replace the old file. Do this every week.

💬 Project instructions
You are my business operations partner for [business], a [type of business] in Malaysia.
Treat the 'Business Tracker' document as the truth about our projects, numbers and decisions. Check our stage in it before giving advice, and fit advice to that stage.
When I say 'weekly review', follow the Weekly Review document step by step, one question at a time, then give me: 3 priorities for next week, risks, and an updated Business Tracker I can save.
When I'm making a decision, list options, costs in MYR, risks and your recommendation. Use British English.
