👀 What you'll get
ExampleHere's the kind of thing you'll have at the end:
| Deadline | Date | Set by | Document |
|---|---|---|---|
| Deposit due | 23 Oct, 5pm | Clause 3.1 | Sale agreement |
| Loan approval | 13 Nov | Clause 5.2 | Amendment 1 (replaces 6 Nov) |
| Valuation report | 6 Nov | Clause 5.4 | Sale agreement |
| Completion | 18 Dec | Clause 9 | Sale agreement |
Amendment 1 changed the loan date, so I used the newer one. Approve to add 4 calendar events with reminders a day before?

💸 What will this really cost me?
Prices checked 20 Oct 2026- 🧪 To try it once
- No free version: Cowork reading Gmail and adding calendar events needs Claude Pro.
- 🔁 To keep it running
- Claude Pro: USD 20 (MYR 82) a month, or USD 17 (MYR 69) a month paid yearly. Heavy daily use may need Max, from USD 100 (MYR 408) a month.
- ⚠️ Watch out for
- AI can miss or misread a date, so always check against the contract. Claude has usage limits that reset every 5 hours plus a weekly cap. When you hit them you wait, upgrade or pay for extra usage at API rates.

🧰 Before you start
- A paid Claude plan (Pro) and the Claude desktop app
- The deal's signed contracts and amendments in your Gmail (as PDF attachments)
- Google Calendar
- Your own knowledge of which dates matter in your local sale process
🪜 Step by step
- 1☐
Create an assistant project
In Claude, click Projects and create one called 'My assistant'. In its instructions write what it's for and its rules: never send anything without my approval, never invent deal facts, 'nothing found' is a fine answer.
- 2☐
Connect Gmail and Google Calendar
In Claude's settings, open Connectors and connect Gmail and Google Calendar. Set anything that writes or deletes to 'needs approval'.
- 3☐
Start a task
Open the project and describe the job (newer Claude versions take tasks straight from the message box; older ones need you to pick 'Cowork' first). Paste the 'Deal deadlines' prompt and fill in the property address.
- 4☐
Check the deadline table
Claude shows a table of each deadline, its date, which clause sets it and which document it came from. Compare a couple against the contract yourself.
- 5☐
Settle any clashes
If two documents give different dates (for example, an amendment changed one), Claude should stop and ask. Tell it which document is the latest signed one.
- 6☐
Approve the calendar entries
Approve each event. Ask for a reminder a day before, and another a week before the big ones.
- 7☐
Optional: weekly deal check
Use the 'Weekly deal check' prompt as a scheduled task so every Monday you see what's due this week across all open deals.

💬 Copy-paste prompts
Tap Copy prompt, paste it into your AI (Grok, ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini), then replace the [yellow bits] with your own details.
Find every signed contract, amendment and addendum in my email for the property at [address]. Read each document and make a table: deadline name, date and time, the clause or section that sets it, and which document it came from. Include, where they exist: deposit or earnest money due, inspection or due-diligence period end, loan or financing approval deadline, valuation deadline, and completion or closing date. If two documents give different dates, stop and ask me which one applies. If a date depends on another event (for example '14 days after signing'), show your working. After I approve the table, add each deadline to my Google Calendar as '[address]: [deadline name]' with a reminder 24 hours before. Don't email anyone.
Every Monday at [8am], look at my calendar for deal deadlines in the next 14 days. Send me a short list grouped by property: what's due, when, and what I need to do or chase (for example, 'ask the buyer's lender for the approval letter'). If nothing is due, say so in one line.⚠️ Tips & common mistakes
- Always check the dates against the signed documents yourself; the AI is a second pair of eyes, not your lawyer.
- Contract interpretation and advice stay with the licensed agent or a lawyer; check your local rules.
- Keep one project per active deal if you want Claude to remember that deal's details between chats.
