Find your best and slowest sellers from last month's receipts, then get a picture and captions to promote the winner

🧰 Before you start

• A Google account and the Gemini app (free)
• Last month's sales as a spreadsheet export, or clear photos of receipts
• Your logo and brand colours (a website link also works)
• About 20 minutes

🪜 Steps (tick as you go)

   1. Export last month's sales

   From your till, online shop or booking app, download last month's sales as a spreadsheet (CSV or Excel). If you only have paper, take clear photos of the receipts.

   2. Remove customer details

   Delete columns with customer names, phone numbers or emails before you upload. Gemini only needs product, quantity, price and date.

   3. Open Gemini

   Open the Gemini app or gemini.google.com (buttons below). Look for the new business page; Google says it is rolling out to all Gemini users, so if you don't see it yet, a normal chat works too.

   4. Ask for the winners and the slow ones

   Upload the file and paste the 'Best and slow sellers' prompt below. Ask for a simple chart.

5. ☐
   5. Check the numbers

   Pick two products and check Gemini's totals against your own records. Only then use the results to reorder or discount.

6. ☐
   6. Make one promo picture

   Upload your logo and colours (or your website link) and use the 'Promo for the winner' prompt. Gemini keeps your brand style for future pictures.

7. ☐
   7. Post it yourself

   Save the picture and pick one caption. Post it to WhatsApp status, Instagram or Facebook.

💬 Prompts to copy

Here are my sales for [month] from my [shop / salon / online store]. Columns: product or service, quantity, price, date. Customer details are removed.
Please:
1. Show my top 3 products by money made (not by quantity), with totals in [currency].
2. Show the 3 that sold least or not at all.
3. Make one simple bar chart of money made by product.
4. Note anything odd: a product that suddenly dropped, a day of the week that's much busier.
5. Suggest one thing to do for the slow sellers (bundle, discount, stop stocking) and say it's a suggestion.
Only use numbers from the file. If something is unclear, ask me instead of guessing.

Using my brand style (logo and colours I've uploaded), make one square picture to promote [best-selling product] for a WhatsApp status and Instagram. Show the product clearly, add the words '[short offer or line]' and leave space at the bottom. Then write 3 captions under 30 words each in my tone: [e.g. friendly, local, a bit cheeky]. No prices unless I give one: [price].
