• An online shop on Shopify or Etsy (easiest routes)
• Clear product photos, titles, prices and store policies (shipping, returns)

🪜 Steps (tick as you go)

   1. Use a supported shop platform

   Shopify and Etsy shops are the easiest route into ChatGPT shopping.

2. ☐
   2. On Shopify: check you're eligible

   Shopify says eligible stores are included automatically: you must ship to customers in the United States (your shop can be based elsewhere) and your products must qualify for Shopify Catalog. Check Sales channels > Agentic in Shopify admin to see ChatGPT is not switched off.

3. ☐
   3. Fill in your store policies

   In Settings > Policies, complete your Terms of service, Privacy policy and Return and refund policy. Shopify requires these.

4. ☐
   4. Improve your product listings

   Use the prompt below to rewrite titles and descriptions so AI understands exactly what each product is and who it's for.

   5. Test it

   Ask ChatGPT to find a product like yours, e.g. 'best [product] under [price] delivered to Malaysia'.
