π What you'll get
ExampleHere's the kind of thing you'll have at the end:
5 people to catch up with this week
1. Farah Iskandar, ops lead at Lumen Logistics (last spoke 4 months ago). Why now: she just opened their second warehouse (link).
Draft: "Farah, congrats on the new warehouse! That's a big step after the year you described in March. How is the team coping with the move?"
2. Daniel Wong, former client (last spoke 5 months ago). Why now: his firm won an industry award last week (link).
Draft: "Daniel, saw the award news, well deserved. Is the new office in Penang still on the cards?"
3-5. Three more below, each with a link.

πΈ What will this really cost me?
Prices checked 21 Oct 2026- π§ͺ To try it once
- Free trial credit for new Grok Bot accounts (it runs out by how much work the bot does, within 7 days). After that you need The X Subscription Premium at USDΒ 30 (MYRΒ 122) a month.
- π To keep it running
- Included in Premium: USDΒ 30 (MYRΒ 122) a month, or USDΒ 25 (MYRΒ 102) a month paid yearly. Super (USDΒ 100 / MYRΒ 408) and Ultra (USDΒ 200 / MYRΒ 816) give bigger weekly allowances.
- β οΈ Watch out for
- Bots share one weekly allowance; past it, extra work is paid from prepaid credit, so set a monthly limit. The Plus plan (USDΒ 8 / MYRΒ 33) doesn't include Grok Bot.

π§° Before you start
- A Grok Bot account (free trial, then The X Subscription Premium)
- A contacts list: a Google Sheet, Excel file or CRM export with name, company, how you know them and the date you last spoke
πͺ Step by step
- 1β
Tidy your contacts sheet
Make sure it has at least: name, company, role, how you know them, last contact date, and a notes column. A rough 'last spoke' month is fine.
- 2β
Create the bot
Install Grok Bot (buttons below), choose New, then Create new Bot, and call it Catch-up. Share the sheet with it, or upload the file.
- 3β
Paste the prompt
Use the 'Monday catch-up list' prompt below. Fill in how long counts as 'gone quiet' for you (for example 90 days) and the kind of people you want first (past clients, referrers).
- 4β
Schedule it
Ask the bot to run every Monday at 8am your time. Grok Bot calls these routines.
- 5β
Send them yourself
Each Monday, read the five drafts, fix anything that doesn't sound like you, and send from your own email, LinkedIn or WhatsApp.
- 6β
Close the loop
Reply to the bot with who you contacted, so it updates the 'last contact' dates and doesn't pick the same people next week.
π¬ Copy-paste prompts
Tap Copy prompt, paste it into your AI (Grok, ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini), then replace the [yellow bits] with your own details.
Every Monday at [8am, time zone], open my contacts in [sheet or file name]. Pick the 5 people I should catch up with this week: people I last contacted more than [90] days ago, starting with [past clients / people who sent me referrals / partners]. For each person, search the web for anything public from the last 3 months (new job, company news, an article or post they wrote). Only use what you can link to. Give me for each: name, why now (with the link), and a draft message of under 70 words that sounds like me: warm, specific, no selling, ending with an easy question. Never send anything yourself. When I tell you who I contacted, update their 'last contact' date in the sheet.
β οΈ Tips & common mistakes
- Only use public information, and don't mention anything that would feel like snooping.
- Keep it personal: no links to offers in a catch-up message.
- If you add new contacts to a marketing list, check your local rules on consent first.
