List 3-4 services you can deliver well (the video uses landing pages, Shopify fixes, AI chatbots and automations) and the lowest job budget you'd accept.
In Grok Bot, create a new Bot and give it a name (the video calls it Ace). Pick any colour and icon you like.
Open the Bot's connectors and connect Upwork, Gmail and Airtable (or Google Sheets). Only connect what you need. Upwork's own rules say an AI may draft a proposal but you must review and confirm it yourself.
Copy the 'Job finder' prompt below, fill in the [brackets] and send it to the Bot. It should set up a repeating routine (a scheduled job) you can see in the Bot's details.
Open the sheet after the first run. Make sure the scores make sense and that it skipped jobs with unverified payment or lots of proposals already.
Read each draft. Fix anything that overstates your skills, then submit it yourself on the platform. Never let the bot send pitches in bulk.
Tell the Bot which pitches won replies and ask it to adjust its scoring and writing style to match.
Your name is [bot name], my job-finder bot. Your job is to help me win paid client work that I can actually deliver. I sell: [service 1], [service 2], [service 3]. Every [2] hours on weekdays, search Upwork (with the Upwork connector), X and Reddit for new jobs that match. Only keep jobs with verified payment, fewer than [10] proposals and a budget over [USD 150]. Score each job out of 100 for fit and add it to my [Airtable base / Google Sheet] with the link, budget, score and a one-line reason. For every job scoring over [75], open the client's website or shop, find the exact problem, and draft a pitch under 120 words: their problem in their words, my fix, a price, a timeline and one question. Never submit, send or message anything until I approve it. Never claim skills or results I haven't listed.
