๐ธ What will this really cost me?
Prices checked 23 Oct 2026- ๐งช To try it once
- The template itself is free. Free trial credit for new Grok Bot accounts (it runs out by how much work the bot does, within 7 days). After that you need The X Subscription Premium at USDย 30 (MYRย 122) a month.
- ๐ To keep it running
- Included in Premium: USDย 30 (MYRย 122) a month, or USDย 25 (MYRย 102) a month paid yearly. Super (USDย 100 / MYRย 408) and Ultra (USDย 200 / MYRย 816) give bigger weekly allowances.
- โ ๏ธ Watch out for
- Every picture the bot makes uses some of your allowance, so a client who asks for many swaps costs more than one who picks quickly. Bots share one weekly allowance; past it, extra work is paid from prepaid credit, so set a monthly limit. The Plus plan (USDย 8 / MYRย 33) doesn't include Grok Bot.

โน๏ธ How we work this out
Prices come from each provider's own pricing page (checked 21 Oct 2026; amounts exclude tax; USD 1 = MYR 4.08, Bank Negara Malaysia 19 Oct 2026). Small upgrade = up to MYR 250 a month more than you pay now. Big upgrade = more than MYR 250 a month more. Check pricing = the provider doesn't publish a price we could confirm. Each guide's needs come from its own "What will this really cost me?" box. Your ticks stay in this browser only (no account, nothing sent to us).โฑ๏ธ Try it in 10 minutes

โก One-click install
Checked install pages (app stores, official sites and template pages): tap to get it straight away.
๐งฐ Before you start
- A Grok Bot account (free trial, then The X Subscription Premium)
- Your list of finishes with prices (flooring, tiles, cabinets, worktops, handles): a spreadsheet or PDF is fine
- A few photos of products you sell, if you have them
- A clear, well-lit photo of a room to test with
๐ช Step by step
- 1โ
Get Grok Bot
Install Grok Bot (buttons below) and sign in. In Settings, look for Usage & Billing and set a monthly spending limit.
- 2โ
Add the RoomFlip template
Tap 'Add RoomFlip' below. It opens the template page on x.ai: tap Add to Grok Bot. It's made by a user (Thuong), not by the company, so read what it does before you add it.
- 3โ
Give it your catalogue
Upload your price list and product photos, then paste the 'My catalogue' prompt below. The bot should only ever show finishes from this list, at these prices.
- 4โ
Test on your own room
Take a straight-on photo of a room in good daylight and send it. Ask for one preview with your most popular finishes. Check the result looks believable and the total is right.
- 5โ
Use it with a client
At the visit (or after they send photos), send the room photo to the bot. Show the client the preview and let them ask for swaps: 'oak floor instead', 'black handles'.
- 6โ
Send a clean summary
Use the 'Client summary' prompt to get a short list of the chosen finishes, the running total and the preview pictures, ready to attach to your quote.
- 7โ
Optional: label every preview
Ask the bot to add a small 'Illustration only' note on every picture, so nobody mistakes it for a photo of finished work.

Make a short summary for [client name] of the remodel we just designed: 1. The before photo and the final preview. 2. A table: item, quantity, unit price, line total. 3. Labour estimate and the grand total in [currency], marked 'Estimate: final price after measuring'. 4. Two alternatives they looked at, with how much each would add or save. Plain language, no sales talk. Don't send anything; give it to me to check first.
โ ๏ธ Tips & common mistakes
- Previews are illustrations, not promises. Always measure on site before you give a final price.
- A good photo makes a good preview: straight on, daylight, no clutter in the way.
- Keep your price list up to date in the bot, or previews will show old prices.
- Ask clients before you store photos of their home, and check your local rules on keeping customer pictures.
