๐ธ What will this really cost me?
Prices checked 23 Oct 2026- ๐งช To try it once
- Free trial credit for new Grok Bot accounts (it runs out by how much work the bot does, within 7 days). After that you need The X Subscription Premium at USDย 30 (MYRย 122) a month.
- ๐ To keep it running
- Included in Premium: USDย 30 (MYRย 122) a month, or USDย 25 (MYRย 102) a month paid yearly. Super (USDย 100 / MYRย 408) and Ultra (USDย 200 / MYRย 816) give bigger weekly allowances.
- โ ๏ธ Watch out for
- Opening dozens of job posts and websites each week uses more allowance than a short task, so start with one role. Paid job-board accounts, if you need one, are extra. Bots share one weekly allowance; past it, extra work is paid from prepaid credit, so set a monthly limit. The Plus plan (USDย 8 / MYRย 33) doesn't include Grok Bot.

Prices come from each provider's own pricing page (checked 21 Oct 2026; amounts exclude tax; USD 1 = MYR 4.08, Bank Negara Malaysia 19 Oct 2026). Small upgrade = up to MYR 250 a month more than you pay now. Big upgrade = more than MYR 250 a month more. Check pricing = the provider doesn't publish a price we could confirm. Each guide's needs come from its own "What will this really cost me?" box. Your ticks stay in this browser only (no account, nothing sent to us).โฑ๏ธ Try it in 10 minutes
๐งช Dry run ยท nothing to connectWhat you'll see: a dry run: sample job adverts checked for companies already spending on the problem you solve, scored and turned into a pitch list.
๐งช Dry run. The real thing needs your apps connected, so this tries only the AI's part on a sample you paste in. Nothing is connected, sent or booked.
Copy the prompt, paste it into one of the free AI apps below and press send. The sample is made up, so swap in your own details if you like.
Dry run of hiring-signal leads. Normally the bot checks job boards and company websites itself; for this test use the sample adverts below. My service: I run Facebook and Google ads for small clinics. Good fit: clinics or healthcare businesses with 10-200 staff, posted in the last 7 days. Not a fit: recruitment agencies, companies with a marketing team of more than 5. Adverts: 1. 'Digital Marketing Executive', BrightSmile Dental Group, 45 staff, posted 3 days ago. 2. 'Paid Ads Manager', TalentLink Recruitment (for a client), posted 2 days ago. 3. 'Social Media Intern', PhysioCare, 12 staff, posted 20 days ago. 4. 'Performance Marketer', SkinFirst Aesthetics, 80 staff, marketing team of 3, posted yesterday. Score each 1-5 for fit with the reason, then write a short, non-pushy opening line for the top 2 that mentions the job advert.

๐งฐ Before you start
- A Grok Bot account (free trial, then The X Subscription Premium)
- A Google account for Google Sheets
- A clear idea of your service and the job titles that signal a need for it
- Two or three job boards you trust for your market
๐ช Step by step
- 1โ
Pick your signal
Write down your service, the job titles that mean a company needs it (for example 'paid ads manager' if you run ads), and the kind of company you want: size, location, what they sell.
- 2โ
Make a 'leads' sheet
In Google Sheets, create a sheet called leads with columns: Company, Website, Job title, Job link, Date posted, Why we fit, Status.
- 3โ
Create the bot and connect Sheets
Install Grok Bot (buttons below). Create a new Bot called Lead Finder and connect Google Sheets under connected apps.
- 4โ
Run the first search
Paste the 'Hiring signals' prompt below with your job boards and rules. The bot opens every job post and the company's website and checks them against your rules.
- 5โ
Review the shortlist yourself
Read each 'Why we fit' line, delete weak ones and mark who you'll contact. Compare it with the companies you'd have picked yourself.
- 6โ
Save it as a weekly skill
When a run looks right, say: 'Save the process we just used as a skill called hiring signals', then 'Every Monday at 8am, run hiring signals and post the new leads here.' It runs in the cloud with your laptop closed.
- 7โ
Optional: draft first messages
Use the 'First message' prompt for your top three. Nothing is sent; you edit and send it yourself.

My service: [e.g. I run Facebook and Google ads for small clinics]. Roles that signal a need: [e.g. paid ads manager, performance marketer, digital marketing executive]. Good fit: [customer type], [size, e.g. 10-200 staff], [location], posted in the last 7 days. Not a fit: recruitment agencies, companies with an in-house marketing team over [5] people, [anything else]. Job boards to check: [board 1 link], [board 2 link], [board 3 link]. For each job post: open it and the company's website, check it against my rules, and skip any company already in my 'leads' sheet. Add each fit to 'leads' with: company, website, job title, job link, date posted, and one line on why my service fits (based on what the post or site says). If a site blocks you or needs a login, stop and tell me which one. Don't contact anyone.
For the top 3 companies in 'leads' marked 'contact', draft a short first message (under 90 words) to the hiring manager or owner. Mention the role they're hiring for, offer my service as a quicker way to get that work done while they hire, and end with one easy question. Don't send anything.
โ ๏ธ Tips & common mistakes
- Start with one role you know well and last week's posts, then widen.
- Some job boards block bots or ask you to log in: do that step yourself or drop that board.
- Be helpful, not pushy: 'while you hire' offers land better than 'don't hire, use me'.
- Check your local rules on contacting businesses and keeping contact details.
