๐ What you'll get
ExampleHere's the kind of thing you'll have at the end:
Cleared overnight
- 23 campaign emails moved to 'Political spam'
- Unsubscribed from 6 new mailing lists (list below)
- 2 texts: replied STOP to both senders
Kept for you
- Election office: your polling station and opening hours (labelled 'Election info')
- Councillor Tan Mei Ling: road repairs newsletter (on your keep list)
Not sure
- 'Residents for Green Park' asks for a donation. Clear it, or keep this sender?

๐ธ What will this really cost me?
Prices checked 22 Oct 2026- ๐งช To try it once
- The template itself is free. Free trial credit for new Grok Bot accounts (it runs out by how much work the bot does, within 7 days). After that you need The X Subscription Premium at USDย 30 (MYRย 122) a month.
- ๐ To keep it running
- Included in Premium: USDย 30 (MYRย 122) a month, or USDย 25 (MYRย 102) a month paid yearly. Super (USDย 100 / MYRย 408) and Ultra (USDย 200 / MYRย 816) give bigger weekly allowances.
- โ ๏ธ Watch out for
- A first sweep through months of email uses more allowance than the daily sweeps that follow. Bots share one weekly allowance; past it, extra work is paid from prepaid credit, so set a monthly limit. The Plus plan (USDย 8 / MYRย 33) doesn't include Grok Bot.

โน๏ธ How we work this out
Prices come from each provider's own pricing page (checked 21 Oct 2026; amounts exclude tax; USD 1 = MYR 4.08, Bank Negara Malaysia 19 Oct 2026). Small upgrade = up to MYR 250 a month more than you pay now. Big upgrade = more than MYR 250 a month more. Check pricing = the provider doesn't publish a price we could confirm. Each guide's needs come from its own "What will this really cost me?" box. Your ticks stay in this browser only (no account, nothing sent to us).โก One-click install

๐งฐ Before you start
- A Grok Bot account (free trial, then The X Subscription Premium)
- Your Gmail or Outlook account
- Your phone, for blocking campaign calls and texts
๐ช Step by step
- 1โ
Get Grok Bot
Install Grok Bot (buttons below) and sign in.
- 2โ
Add the template
Tap 'Add Political Spam Blocker' below. It opens the template page on x.ai: tap Add to Grok Bot. It's made by a user (Sawyer Merritt), not by the company, so read what it does before you add it.
- 3โ
Connect your email
When it asks, connect Gmail or Outlook so it can read and sort your mail.
- 4โ
Answer its questions
Tell it which country you live in, whether it may unsubscribe for you, and which political senders you still want (for example your local councillor). Paste the 'My exceptions' prompt below to give all of this at once.
- 5โ
Check the first sweep
It looks back over recent mail and shows you what it plans to clear and unsubscribe from. Look through the list and tell it what to keep before you say yes.
- 6โ
Sort out texts and calls
Follow its steps for texts and calls. Replying STOP to campaign texts usually ends them; your phone's settings can filter unknown senders and silence unknown callers.
- 7โ
Optional: let it sweep each morning
Say yes to a daily morning sweep so new campaign mail is cleared before you wake up.

๐ฌ Copy-paste prompts
Tap Copy prompt, paste it into your AI (Grok, ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini), then replace the [yellow bits] with your own details.
Before you clear or unsubscribe anything, here are my rules: - I live in [country, state or region]. - Keep anything from: [e.g. my local councillor, my union, a charity I support]. - Never clear official messages from government or election offices (where and when to vote); label them 'Election info' instead. - You may unsubscribe me from campaign and party mailing lists. Show me the list first. - Move cleared emails to a folder called 'Political spam' instead of deleting them, so I can check for 2 weeks. - Each morning, tell me in one line how many you cleared and anything you weren't sure about.
โ ๏ธ Tips & common mistakes
- Keep official election office messages. The 'My exceptions' prompt tells the bot to label them, not clear them.
- Use a folder rather than deleting for the first few weeks, so nothing important is lost.
- Rules on campaign texts and calls differ by country, so check your local rules and what STOP or opt-out options you have.
- The template is made by a user, not by the company. You can read its instructions in Grok Bot after adding it and change them.
